Student Associations

Join the (PROGRAM NAME) students’ association and explore the AMS clubs available to all UBC students and build a community of peers.

A horizontal line can be a great way to add structure and hierarchy to your posts. If using lines to define and divide sections, ensure consistency in how and when you use them. An example of a horizontal line can be seen above this paragraph.

To insert a line into your page, first place your text cursor at the point in your text flow where you would like the line to appear. Next, select the “Horizontal Line” button in the toolbar (if this is not visible by default, you may need to first select “Toolbar Toggle” to reveal the expanded range of options).

Add a section title (heading 2)

Dividing your content into scannable sections helps your audience find relevant information on the page quickly and easily using headings and subheadings.

Add information that is relevant to your users. Remember to keep a tone that matches your unit and is appropriate for your primary audience. Write in the second person.

If you have already provided information about your student association, you can use buttons as a clear call to action to lead your users to the student association web page. To add a card module, select “Add Module” > “Button.” Next, you will see several fields where you can add content to your button(s). Once added, your button will display as per the example shown below.

If you’d like to list student associations, we recommend using cards, as you can briefly introduce each.  To add a card module, select “Add Module” > “Card.” Next, you will see several fields where you can add content to your card(s). Once added, your card will display as per the example shown below.
