Write a brief sentence introducing your audience to your student journals.
Using the “Blockquote” text format with relevant keywords for your opening paragraph will help readers quickly identify what information to expect from your page. It can also improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and User Experience (UX).
Note: Based on your student journals, you will use modules and page layout in a specific way to organize your student journals:
1) Use headings to name and introduce each journal and direct users to the website where the journals are published.
2) Use a post archive if the journal issues are published and archived on your unit’s site.
A horizontal line can be a great way to add structure and hierarchy to your posts clearly. If using lines to define and divide sections, ensure you are consistent about how and when you use them. An example of a horizontal line can be seen above this paragraph.
To insert a line into your page, first place your text cursor at the point in your text flow where you would like the line to appear. Next, select the “Horizontal Line” button in the toolbar (if this is not visible by default, you may need to first select “Toolbar Toggle” to reveal the expanded range of options).
