Write a brief sentence introducing your audience to your research programs and/or projects.
Using the “Blockquote” text format with relevant keywords for your opening paragraph will help readers quickly identify what information to expect from your page. It can also improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and User Experience (UX).
Note: Based on the content mapping for your site, you will use modules in a specific way to organize your research programs and/or projects: 1) use cards to lead to each specific research program and/or project page, or 2) give a brief explanation of each research program and/or project and use accordions to expand on details.
Using a horizontal line can be a great way to clearly add structure and hierarchy to your posts. If using lines to define and divide sections, make sure that you are consistent about how and when you use them. An example of a horizontal line can be seen above this paragraph.
To insert a line into your page, first place your text cursor at the point in your text flow where you would like the line to appear. Next, select the “Horizontal Line” button in the toolbar (if this is not visible by default, you may need to first select “Toolbar Toggle” to reveal the expanded range of options).
Add a section title (heading 2), e.g. a research program or project name
Dividing your content into scannable sections helps your audience find relevant information on the page quickly and easily with the proper use of headings and subheadings.
Add a brief introduction about the research program or project. Use accordions to go into more details.
Adding accordions can help you further break down the content on your page, and create shorter pages. By labelling them correctly, with a title about the topic they cover, you create a good user experience as users can find information they are searching for with ease.
Inside of your accordions you can use headings to organize relevant information.
Add a topic title here (heading 3)
Inside accordions, you can also add buttons as clear calls to action.
